BarBands was formed to challenge and better the way in which ‘grass roots’ live music is supplied in London.

- Make sure your band brings 15/25 people minimum
- Its £5 a ticket and if you bring your people you'll get £1 a ticket
- You can't play anywhere else for two weeks either side
This is my interaction with promoters in the past. I did leave many a gig wondering how this was helping me progress in the music industry as I was consistently playing to the same people. (We are not saying paid events don't work, however we think the artist/band needs to develop a large fanbase before they should start charging)
What about us then?
We are gonna do things differently. We want you to think of us as the 'Robin Hood' of rock (did I just write that!) Forget greedy promoters, we want to give something back to you.
How do we want to help you?
- Grow your fan base through you playing our gigs and utilising our website
- Offer you incentives and rewards for playing and promoting our gigs. Not beer money but real practical solutions to help you. Things like photo shoots, rehearsal time, digital single releases, pr etc.

How do I use BarBands as an original artist?
1) First, Sign Up and Create a Profile
2) Second, explore the original gig calendar and check out the available gigs
3) Third, spread the word to your fans. We will be doing the same and it will mean more exposure and rewards for you.
